Phlebotomist I Part‑Time

Location:

Bedford, OH.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM plus rotational weekends.

Hours:

part‑time.

Pay:
Minimum $18.05+ per hour, with potential annual performance bonus.

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Research and verify test/client information using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments when required per corporate policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as ordered.
• Perform non‑patient duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs) timely.
• Complete online and in‑person training courses timely.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.
