Relay Panel Assembler – 1st Shift PAYRATE: $25/hr Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Relay Panel Assembler to join a manufacturing team!
If you enjoy hands-on assembly, working with tools, building large equipment, and seeing a finished product come together, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The Relay Panel Assembler will assemble large electrical panels and related components using basic hand and power tools while following assembly drawings and specifications.
What You’ll Do- Perform general sheet metal assembly
- Assemble large electrical panels and equipment
- Read and follow basic assembly drawings
- Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure
- Use basic hand and power tools, including:
Drills, Impact drivers, Manual wrenches, Ratchets, Other basic assembly tools - Position, align, and secure components during assembly
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality
- Identify and report problems or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and production requirements
- Work independently while also communicating effectively with the team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
- Experience working with sheet metal or metal components preferred
- Ability to read and follow basic assembly drawings
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- A dependable, self-starter attitude
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position.
You must be able to:
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently bend, kneel, reach, and move around large panels
- Work around and assemble large electrical panels
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Maintain productivity while performing detailed assembly work
