An automotive components manufacturer based on tool and die and metal stamping seeks a hands‑on Quality Manager. Experience in the metal stamping process is ideal.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree in Quality, Industrial, or related Engineering
- Minimum of 3-10 years Quality management experience in automotive components manufacturing setting
- Significant experience in recognized quality systems (ISO, TS, QMS).
- Experience with PPAP and related duties
- Corrective actions, continuous improvement & customer/subcontractor relations
- Quality Systems knowledge of TS16949/IS09001/ISO
14001
- Proven track record of building and managing a QA team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior organizational abilities a must.
- Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
- Proficiency in inspection techniques, CMM programming and management of a metrology laboratory
- PC based computing experience (MS Office, Minitab, Datamyte, etc)
- Training certifications (CQE, CQA, RAB) desirable
