Regional Field Trainer – Leaf Home

Responsible for training and improving the proficiency of Field Trainers through training initiatives such as in-person training, training material, reviews, and related activities.

• Train, coach, and mentor Field Trainers located in field offices across the country.
• Identify retraining opportunities to improve Field Trainer efficiency and effectiveness.
• Improve subcontractor retention rates through impactful training and engagement.
• Drive proficiency and efficiency amongst installation subcontractors.
• Serve as an installation training subject matter expert; teach all aspects of installing Leaf Filter products on all home types with all Leaf Filter products.
• Identify weaknesses of individuals and teams and create or co-create ad hoc training events to address gaps.
• Collaborate with the Installation Management Team on individual performance, abilities, and capabilities of Field Trainers.
• Partner with leadership to identify systemic training gaps and propose solutions.
• Provide assistance with installation subcontractor training as needed.

• 3+ years of successful experience in home construction, remodeling, and/or installation.
• Proven ability to train and coach others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to teach others through hands-on and documentation-based learning methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact with customers.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to frequently use ladders (up to 28+ feet) and to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time or more.

• Prior experience in gutter and gutter protection system installation.
• Prior skilled trades experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry.
• Prior experience in residential home improvement (e.g., walk-in tubs, one-day baths, kitchen refacing, replacement windows, stairlifts, water filtration systems).

• More than 50% domestic travel required.

• May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends depending on business needs.

• Normal office environment; may work indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Medium work; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
