Position Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for servicing previously installed windows and doors at the customer’s home based on established service ticket requests. This role provides outstanding customer service during service repairs and inspections.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to provide service to installed windows and doors.
• Perform necessary services to gutter protection systems based on logged service tickets and onsite inspections.
• Log services performed in the service ticket system accurately and timely.
• Proactively engage with customers to deliver an outstanding service experience.
• Follow established job site safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience And

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in basic remodeling, construction, or other related field.
• Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of carrying ladders.
• Functioning tools.
• Ability to manage multiple work activities and priorities to meet stakeholder needs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a proactive mindset.
• Active listening and clear verbal/written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Or Certifications

• Prior experience in windows and door installation, repair, or inspection is a plus.

Travel Requirements

• More than 50% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements

• May be required to work overtime on evenings and weekends depending on business need.

Physical Requirements

• Normal office and field environments; ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Medium exertion; ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
