A Snow Removal Equipment Operator/Driver is a flexible schedule position that allows you to work when you are available (on‑call, as needed). The position is responsible for driving a truck or equipment for snow removal or salt dispensing and/or operating equipment used in the snow or ice removal process.

• Be experienced in driving in winter weather conditions.
• Attend meetings at the Branch, if requested.
• Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
• Safely drive a snowplow truck or salt truck in various and potentially extreme weather conditions including snow, rain, ice, etc.
• Operate snow or ice removal equipment such as front‑end loader, plow truck, skid steer, and sidewalk machine (ATV, RTV, etc.)
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Must be self‑motivated

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards is required for operation of vehicle. This is not required for equipment operation.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
• 1–2 years of experience running snow/ice removal equipment is preferred.

• Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed.
• Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours.
• Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate with snow removal activities.
• This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold or heat.
