Mail Processor (Part‑Time) - State National

- Receive all incoming mail, interdepartmental mail, memos, etc.; sort and distribute according to destination and timeliness guidelines.
- Pick up, sort, and prepare all outbound mail with appropriate postage.
- Run folder/insert equipment for all notices and policies in preparation for mailing.
- Complete the filing and archiving of account documentation as required.
- Prepare overnight packages as specified by user department for a variety of carriers.
- Assist the supervisor in general maintenance of the facility as directed.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a similar environment preferred; experience and knowledge of postal equipment operation.
- Current driver’s license and good driving record; must meet company insurance requirements.
- U.S. work authorization required. Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
- Standard office equipment: computers, printers, phones, fax machine, and copier.
