Job Description Summary
The Senior Client Service Business Analyst – Program Client Services will provide strategic business analysis services to Program Services (Program Analyst-Accounting/Finance). The focus of this position is to work with the business units to gain an in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates to design system efficiencies to increase overall results within the organization.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to characterize and address operational, financial and technological risks. Responsibilities will include a full range of pursuits in the development of division solutions (i.e. CRM), from large scale project management and strategic design, to leading project teams in an effort to maintain data integrity within the system.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for reviewing submissions from the brokerage community/market
- Assist with quotes, submissions, policy issuance and endorsements workflow
- Review underwriting guidelines on submissions and escalate issues accordingly
- Issue binders/slips and invoices
- Monitor facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts to ensure timely and accurate settlements of monies owed
- Reconcile cash balances monthly, researching and clearing discrepancies
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure premiums are recorded, collected and settled
- File setup and maintenance of the submissions received
- Provide backups to underwriting assistants as necessary
- Ad hoc reinsurance projects as needed
Education/
Experience:
- Bachelor's in Business, Accounting and/or Finance. Masters is a plus but not necessary.
- Strong MS Excel and Word skills
- Strong verbal and written skills needed to communicate with internal executives and external partners
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- In Office:
Monday through Wednesday. WFH:
Thursday and Friday. (Hybrid)
