Job location:

FSED in Garland, part of Medical City Dallas, HCA Healthcare.

An experienced CT Technologist is needed to perform all CAT scan exam protocols, prepare exams, instruct patients, use radiation protection methods, gather patient history, collaborate with radiologists on contrast usage, process data, assist physicians with invasive procedures, and provide best patient care during codes.

• Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• Be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Be responsible for the post processing of data.
• Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Associate Degree.
• FSED experience.
