The Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members within a senior living community. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of resident apartments and common areas while demonstrating respect, compassion, and professionalism. The ideal candidate understands the importance of cleanliness in supporting resident health, comfort, and overall quality of life.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or senior living
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Must be able to pass applicable background checks in accordance with state regulations

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces
• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and trash removal
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
  
  Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to the appropriate department
• Interact with residents in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner
• Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required
• Support special cleaning projects and community events as assigned
