Providing quality and timely prepared foods, following sanitation guidelines, and obtaining a Food Handlers permit are key responsibilities of this role.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Wearing the proper uniform as policy describes throughout entire shift
• Standing for long periods of time during shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting items up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
• Utilizing basic computer skills to use online scheduling system
• Adhering to safety procedures
• Practicing cost-cutting measures
• Working as part of a team
• Reporting to work on time and ready
• Stocking and rotating food
• Handling equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
• Performing opening procedures
• Organizing and preparing for shift
• Performing operating procedures
• Preparing and cooking food items to recipe
• Processing and managing food tickets
• Handling special circumstances
• Communicating effectively with co-workers and managers
• Assisting in the training of new employees
• Performing closing procedures
• Departing from work as scheduled
• Completing any other tasks assigned by the manager on duty

This is an entry-level, full-time position in the restaurant industry, with a job function that includes management and manufacturing. The starting hourly rate is $18-$19.
