Inside Sales Specialist/ Call Center Rep.

Location:

Bedford, Texas - This position is onsite

Pay:
Around $55,000 - $78,000 annually
$15.00 per hour + uncapped commission
$500-$800 commission biweekly if you're doing your job
(not a hard sale, people are calling to activate electricity)

Schedule:

Must be flexible during department hours M-Sat, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
All new associates will work on Saturdays
In coming months department hours will be extended:

M-Sat, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Training schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 minute lunch) for approximately (2) weeks, hours may not reach full-time during training

Job Description
  • Handle Inbound and Outbound Calls: Manage approximately 30–35 daily inbound calls from individuals moving homes, switching electricity services, or seeking customer support. Calls typically last 12–15 minutes, with more time required for in-depth product discussions. You’ll also return missed calls and handle follow-ups.

  • Sales & Customer Service Blend: Engage both sales and customer service conversations—this role is not purely sales. You’ll listen to customer needs, explain available electricity plans, and help them choose the best option for their home.

  • Future-Focused Outbound Calling: While outbound call volume is currently limited to follow-ups and return calls, future responsibilities will include cold calling using an auto-dialer system.

  • Drive Growth with Every Call: Use proven closing techniques to overcome objections and convert leads. Share customer insights and feedback to help shape product offerings and improve team performance.

Nice to Have
  • Experience upgrading services such as cable, cellular services
  • Sales experience that is not door-to-door sales or solar

Requirements
  • Must have call center background
  • Must have high attention to detail, correct disclosures are important
  • Must have math skills:
    Converting decimals, basic math to explain credits/plans and explain to customers with tools and calculators
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office proficient (Excel, Word)
  • Employer will perform testing
  • Ability to navigate CRMs, and web-based tools
  • No cellphone at the desk policy based on client contracts
  • Background checks required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Compensation

$55,000-$78,000 per year
