Audit Senior – Bedford 100% Audit | Progression to Assistant Manager | Long-Term Route to Partnership Gemini Jobs is working with a leading accountancy firm with offices across the UK that is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior for its Bedford team. This is a 100% audit role and would suit someone who wants to take ownership of assignments, lead teams on site and build a long-term career within a firm that can offer genuine progression.

The Role You'll be responsible for:
Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion Supervising, delegating and reviewing the work of junior staff Managing audit fieldwork on client sites Identifying key audit risks and appropriate testing Liaising directly with clients, Managers and Partners Monitoring budgets, deadlines and assignment progress Supporting and developing junior members of the audit team Attending stocktakes where required Undertaking some Solicitors Accounts Rules work The portfolio is predominantly commercial and includes clients across manufacturing, clothing, dairy, water bottling, hospitality, property and other owner-managed businesses , alongside some charity work.

What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:
Previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice Experience leading or taking responsibility for audit assignments Experience supervising junior staff Strong client-facing and communication skills Good technical audit knowledge ACA or ACCA qualification, although strong part-qualified candidates will also be considered Progression This is much more than just another Audit Senior role. The firm is looking for someone who can grow with the business, take on increasing responsibility and progress into Assistant Manager and management positions , with the potential to build a long-term career towards partnership .
