Overview
Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Healthcare Team at HMP Bedford, a Category B male prison, as a Team Administrator
. This role provides administrative and business support to the healthcare team to contribute to health, wellbeing and rehabilitation of individuals within the custodial environment.
As a Team Administrator, you will support the effective day-to-day running of healthcare services within the prison, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently to support high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the healthcare team
- Manage diaries, meetings, and minute-taking as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and patient information systems
- Support the coordination of clinics, appointments, and referrals
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Process correspondence, documentation, and confidential information in line with policies

Booking clinics and managing clinicians' ledgers - Take minutes in clinical and operational meetings
- Able to use Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
