Transport/Export Admin Assistant

Reporting to:
Director/Line Manager

Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Making booking arrangements with hauliers/shippers/freight forwarders
  • Raising haulage/freight purchase orders in SAP and filling in relevant confirmatory paperwork as required
  • Monitoring deliveries/collections against schedule and liaising with the above parties
  • Communicating any issues arising against schedule with the relevant parties
  • Producing weight tickets and corresponding reports
  • Email correspondence as needed
  • Assist the export team as required for updating schedule, creating orders in sap, creating spreadsheet, raising annex vii
  • Filing the relevant paperwork and completing spreadsheets
  • Cover as needed for weighbridge functions
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and routing through to intended recipient
