Vehicle Technican

Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Bedford, has the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technicians at all skill levels to join their established workshop team.

If you are a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or Master Technician, or a MOT Tester, our client would be interested in talking to you.

In return, our client is offering a competitive basic salary, uncapped bonus scheme, 42-hour working week, 4 or 5 day shift patterns available, no Saturdays, and a great benefits package.

As a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or Master Technician, or MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include:

• Routine Servicing, Repairs, and Health Checks to Manufacturer Standards
• Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• New Car PDI’s & Used Cars Multi Point Checks
• Warranty Repairs
• MOT Tests (if qualified to do so)

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or Equivalent
• 12 months post-apprenticeship experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own your own tools

Desirable Requirements:

• Manufacturer Accreditations / Qualifications
• Franchised Dealer Vehicle Technician Experience
• MOT Licence
• EV/Hybrid Qualifications

Basic Salaries of £31,000 - £36,000 DOE

On Target Earnings up to £50,000 DOE

Manufacturer Training Programme inc Hybrid/EV training

Opportunity to qualify as an MOT Tester
