Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity with a reputable independent garage in Bedford? Our client, a well-established and respected garage, is currently hiring for a Vehicle Technician with an MOT Licence to join their dedicated team. • Up to £45,000 basic annual salary
• Monday to Friday working hours, no weekends required
• Stable, long-term position supporting national fleet contracts
• Opportunities for further qualifications, including Hybrid/EV and MOT certification
• Supportive management who understands technician career development, as the owner is a former technician

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair in line with manufacturer standards
• Perform full vehicle servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles, primarily cars with occasional vans
• Diagnose faults accurately and record vehicle condition, safety and performance issues
• Carry out MOT testing (if holding MOT Licence)
• Maintain high quality standards in all work carried out

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent as a Vehicle Technician
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a workshop environment
• MOT Licence is highly desirable, but experienced Vehicle Technicians without MOT can still apply
• Own comprehensive set of tools
• Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work
