Technician Vacancy – Bedford – £48,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to work within their busy main dealership. Candidates must hold a Level 3 automotive qualification. Experience from both main dealer and independent workshop environments is welcomed. An MOT licence is preferred but not essential. The salary is negotiable; expect around £48,000 OTE plus additional incentives.

• Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Refer to schematics when necessary to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle components.
• Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.

• Level 3 automotive qualification.
• Experience with main dealership and independent workshop environments.
• Optional MOT licence (preferred).
