Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned main dealer in Bedford for the position of Vehicle Technician. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician seeking to enhance their career within a professional workshop environment. Basic salary up to £40,000, depending on experience
OTE of approximately £44,000
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am – 5:30pm
No weekend work

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Perform diagnostic and fault-finding work with precision
Carry out MOT testing if qualified
Ensure all repairs and inspections are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
Adhere to health and safety procedures and manufacturer protocols
Work independently and collaboratively to meet workshop targets
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Valid UK Driving Licence
Own set of tools
Proven technical ability and keen attention to detail
Previous workshop experience in a similar role
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
