Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy and well-established fast-fit centre in Bedford. The Vehicle Technician will perform a wide range of servicing, repair, and diagnostic tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.
Conduct diagnostics to identify faults and determine suitable repairs.
Perform work on brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, and wheel alignment.
Ensure all work completed complies with safety standards and quality expectations.
Maintain accurate records and complete job cards efficiently.
Support team members when necessary to meet workshop targets.

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience working in a fast-fit centre or dealership environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge.
Positive attitude with a drive to learn and develop further.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
