The Vehicle Technician role features a competitive basic salary of up to £39,000, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses. The position involves working a 45-hour week with weekends on a rota, providing a structured work schedule. Supportive team environment of 10 technicians, including 4 Master Technicians Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles to high standards
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Follow manufacturer repair procedures and technical guidelines
Assist in achieving workshop targets and maintaining high quality standards
Keep skills and knowledge up to date through manufacturer training
Conduct MOT tests (if qualified) and contribute to delivering outstanding customer service
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure departmental efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or similar environment
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a track record of high-quality workmanship
MOT Licence desirable but not essential, ongoing training available
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Passion for developing technical expertise and advancing your career
Experience across multiple automotive brands preferred
