Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, salary £12.69 - £13.31 per hour (£26,895 - £27,684.80 per annum). Rotational basis with 4 weeks advance rota.

Shift patterns: 2–3 shifts per week (typical pattern 2 on 4 off). Sleep-in shifts awarded £30 per shift.

We are searching for Children and Young Persons Residential Support Workers to join our home, establishing meaningful relationships and providing support to young people aged 11–17 in a CSE residential setting.

• Providing emotional support during challenging times.
• Building strong and healthy relationships to help children and young people learn to trust again.
• Acting as a key worker for one of the young people.
• Helping them build resilience and self-confidence.
• Teaching boundaries and healthy relationship skills.
• Fostering ambition and supporting goal achievement.
• Offering support in educational pursuits.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for planning meetings.
• Empowering young people to participate in decision‑making.
• Advocating in meetings involving the young person.
• Encouraging community engagement and off‑site activities.
• Meeting needs of children and young people, organising social activities and maintaining the home (laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.).

• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Full UK driving licence preferable.
• No prior experience necessary; commitment and passion required.
• Attendance at a 2‑week training programme required.
• Availability for sleep‑in shifts.

• £30 additional payment per sleep‑in shift.
• Enhanced DBS covered.
• Comprehensive induction and training.
• 2–3 shifts per week for work/life balance.
• Automatic enrolment to complete NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce after 6‑month probation.
• Rota provided 4 weeks in advance.
