A well-established Main Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering major schemes for a portfolio of long-standing blue‑chip clients. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your role will revolve around the commercial leadership of a new build project. The role reports into a visiting Managing QS who can offer support and guidance as required. You will also have a small commercial team to assist you.

• Issuing sub‑contract tender packages.
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attending post tender and pre‑contract meetings.
• Reviewing contract documents.
• Managing and maintaining relationships with an established list of supply chain sub‑contractors.
• Assessing contract risk.
• Attending internal and external commercial review meetings.
• Submitting client valuations and managing the variation account.
• Managing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account.
• Preparing and assisting with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.

• Salary up to £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
