We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Small Works Estimator to join our general construction team. The role focuses on pricing and managing estimates for small to medium construction projects across a range of trades. • Prepare accurate cost estimates for small works and general construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and site information
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Measure quantities and build up rates for labour and materials
• Liaise with site teams, clients, and suppliers as needed
• Assist with tender submissions and variations
• Maintain estimating records and cost data

• Previous experience as an estimator in general construction or small works
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read drawings and specifications confidently
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates
