Due to continued growth and a significant project award, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a flagship highways scheme in Bedford. • Managing the day-to-day delivery of a major highways infrastructure scheme from inception through to completion.
• Leading site teams, engineers and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Overseeing programme delivery, commercial performance and project budgets.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Identifying and managing project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Producing regular project reports and providing updates to senior management.
• Driving continuous improvement and ensuring high standards of project delivery throughout.

• Proven experience delivering highways or major civil engineering projects.
• Strong project management experience within the highways or infrastructure sector.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• A good understanding of NEC contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant construction or engineering qualifications, with professional membership being advantageous.
