Quantity Surveyor

Bedfordshire with hybrid working of 2 days in office and mixture between site and home.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering projects across the minor civils / landscaping projects. This role will be based between Bedfordshire and London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, ensuring costs are effectively controlled while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple civils, groundworks & hard & soft landscaping projects
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports
• Administer and manage contracts, with a strong focus on NEC forms of contract
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payments
  
  Identify, value, and manage variations and change events
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial performance
• Prepare and submit interim valuations and final account's
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and commercial targets

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civils, landscaping, minor civils.
• Strong working knowledge and practical experience with NEC forms of contract
• Proven experience managing the commercial aspects of site-based projects
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting project teams on-site

• Competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
