Role: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Bedford
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

We're looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join a dedicated team and help provide an excellent standard of service.

This is a key role within the Customer Service team, responsible for supporting customers across telephone, email and website enquiries, processing orders accurately and efficiently, and providing a professional, consistent and customer-focused service.

Duties of a Customer Service Advisor:

• Act as the first point of contact for telephone-based customer enquiries.

• Respond to customer enquiries received by email and through the website.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external customers.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a coordinated, consistent and efficient customer service.

• Process and input customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor functional mailboxes, ensuring enquiries and requests are responded to and cleared as required.

• Ensure customer credits are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Undertake a range of administrative duties to support the effective operation of the Customer Service team.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.

What we would like from you:

Essential:

• Previous experience within a fast-paced Customer Service environment, ideally 1 - 2 years.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for customer service and helping others.

• Professional, organised and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good timekeeping and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Resilience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive, can-do attitude.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Previous experience processing customer orders and handling customer credits.

• Experience working with functional mailboxes and customer enquiries via multiple channels.
