Head of Design (Structural Steel)
Salary: £85,000 - £90,000.
Location:
Bedford.
We are a rapidly growing business that has doubled turnover in the last two years and offers a unique turn‑key solution to Structural Steel, including fabrication, design, project management and site installation.
Responsibilities- Manage a small team of Design Engineers and 3D CAD Designers.
- Ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule.
- Check design work and provide training and guidance to the team.
- Liaise with internal Project Managers and end clients.
- Experience as a Design Manager, Head of Design, or similar role.
- Background in Structural Steel design.
- Knowledge of Advanced Steel or Tekla.
