Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity this year in the Education and Training sector? We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Specialist SEN School in Bedford, supporting pupils with additional needs in a rewarding and structured environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference within the Education and Training sector and wants to work in a specialist SEN setting in Bedford.

The Role:

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist SEN school in Bedford
Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
Providing 1:1 and small group support under the guidance of teachers and SEN professionals
Assisting with academic learning, emotional regulation, and social development
Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate :

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a related role
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to supporting children with SEN
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
A genuine interest in SEN education Sector
Relevant SEN or education training is desirable but not essential
