Site Assistant

We are looking a hard-working, honest, dependable, self-motivated person for the role of Site Assistant at our large secondary school in Bedford, Wixams Academy. As well as general site maintenance and caretaking duties we are seeking staff who can support the growing out of hours lettings of the school campus. We have a range of customers who use the facilities after school and at weekends and we require some support in terms of opening up and locking down the school.

We can offer flexible hours but will require staff to work into the evenings on some days and provide weekend cover, which includes on site presence and being on call at the weekend day times. We can offer from 15 hours - 40 hours per week. We require a high level of responsibility in this role, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to meet the school and customers needs.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. We welcome all applications although, due to the hours to be worked the role, is likely to be more attractive to individuals living in or with easy access to Bedford.
