Teaching Assistant

• Day rate: £14-£16 per hour
• Location: Bedford
• Job Type: Full-time, Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm. Temp to Perm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our small, nurturing school in Bedford, focused on supporting young girls from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage
5. This role is ideal for someone who is a positive influence and passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.

• Provide support to individual students and small groups to help them understand and complete tasks.
• Work closely with teachers to monitor progress and tailor support to each student's needs.
• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
• Help manage class behavior, ensuring a constructive working environment.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
• Support the social and emotional development of students, acting as a positive role model.

• Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar.
• Strong understanding of the educational needs from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive and nurturing attitude, with a passion for education and student development.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo this check).
