Long-Term Role ASAP Start Up to 1 Year
A secondary school in Bedford is seeking an inspiring and creative Drama Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and running for up to one year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a supportive, hands-on Senior Leadership Team and a collaborative staff environment where the arts are valued as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
The Role:Teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
Encouraging creativity, confidence and performance skills
Preparing students for assessments and performances
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and participation
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have proven UK teaching experience, ideally within secondary education
Have experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
Be confident leading practical lessons and productions
Bring energy, creativity and strong classroom management skills
Right to Work in the UK
UK teaching experience
