A secondary school in Bedford is seeking a talented and forward-thinking Media Studies Teacher to join their team on a temp-to-permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The role will transition to a permanent position from July.

The Role:Teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (A-Level)
Planning and delivering engaging, analytical and creative lessons
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level assessments
Supporting coursework completion and exam success
Tracking progress and maintaining high academic expectations
Contributing to the ongoing development of the Media department
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have proven UK teaching experience within secondary education
Have experience teaching Media Studies at both KS4 and KS5 (A-Level)
Possess strong subject knowledge and an up-to-date understanding of exam specifications
Demonstrate confident classroom management and high expectations
Right to Work in the UK
UK teaching experience
Experience teaching Media Studies up to A-Level
