Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Tutor to join our team in Dunstable. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment. As a Construction Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in construction skills, ensuring that students acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills to succeed in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in construction skills.
- Deliver Level 1 Multi-Skills training to students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Level 3 qualification in construction or related discipline.
- Proven experience in teaching construction skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience in delivering training in construction.
- Must have taught Level 1 Multi-Skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Experience in assessing student performance.
