Job Description & How to Apply Below
Are you an experienced tutor, teacher, teaching assistant or education professional looking for work that makes a genuine difference?
We’re currently looking for specialist tutors in the Bedford area to support young people who may be struggling to access mainstream education.
These are not your typical classroom-based tutoring roles.
You’ll be working 1:1 with learners who may have SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, SEMH or other additional needs
, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and make progress at their own pace.
What you can expect:
- Bespoke 1:1 tutoring
- Flexible hours
- The opportunity to build meaningful relationships
- Teaching tailored around the learner’s interests and needs
- A role where engagement and trust matter just as much as academic progress
We’re looking for people who understand that behaviour is communication and that sometimes, the first step in education is simply helping a young person feel safe enough to learn.
