Due to succession plans within the automation team, they are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual that wants to train and develop themselves.

• Responsible for maintaining, repairing and rectifying faults on all site electrical and electronic controls systems: PLCs, HMis, Robotics, Network Systems, Servo Systems
• PLC: electrical fault finding, modifications, basic programming
• Work closely with shift engineering team on rectifying major PLC / electrical issues
• Electrical installation, commissioning, upgrades on control panels, testing and inspections
• Project work: design and development of obsolete motion control systems, PLCs, network systems
• Design and modifications of existing electrical systems

• Must have at least 5 years experience controls / automation experience
• PLC: electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Electrical installation, commissioning, testing and inspection
• Must have completed a time:served:apprenticeship:
  Level 3 or higher
• 18th Edition: beneficial
• Dealt with network systems, HMis, servo systems
• Be a flexible character: happy to occasionally cover shifts if needed
• Ideally have worked in food manufacturing but not essential
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and understanding of relevant codes/regulations
