Due to succession plans within the automation team, they are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual that wants to train and develop themselves.
Responsibilities- Responsible for maintaining, repairing and rectifying faults on all site electrical and electronic controls systems: PLCs, HMis, Robotics, Network Systems, Servo Systems
- PLC: electrical fault finding, modifications, basic programming
- Work closely with shift engineering team on rectifying major PLC / electrical issues
- Electrical installation, commissioning, upgrades on control panels, testing and inspections
- Project work: design and development of obsolete motion control systems, PLCs, network systems
- Design and modifications of existing electrical systems
- Must have at least 5 years experience controls / automation experience
- PLC: electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical installation, commissioning, testing and inspection
- Must have completed a time:served:apprenticeship:
Level 3 or higher - 18th Edition: beneficial
- Dealt with network systems, HMis, servo systems
- Be a flexible character: happy to occasionally cover shifts if needed
- Ideally have worked in food manufacturing but not essential
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and understanding of relevant codes/regulations
