Site Engineer

Site Engineer– Infrastructure – Bedfordshire

Location – Bedfordshire

Purpose of the role:
As a Site Engineer based on our brand new highways project in Bedfordshire, you will work closely with the Senior Engineer and wider site team to provide setting out and engineering control on site.

• Create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate site engineering activities, including information sharing with operatives and subcontractors.
• Complete daily diary sheets and provide required photographic evidence.
• Perform material reconciliations and ensure accurate records.
• Calibrate surveying equipment and conduct as-built surveys.
• Produce 2D & 3D site sketches and assist in maintaining quality records.
• Assist in basic planning, mentoring junior engineers, waste control, and introducing new processes.

• Work safely and interpret data and drawings accurately.
• Proficient in standard setting out techniques, including Level, EDM, and GPS.
• Flexible work attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• HND or degree, with relevant CSCS card and experience.
• Office 365 expertise and relevant field experience.
