The Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead commercial activities on civil engineering projects valued between £10m and £50m. Key responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring Quantity Surveying teams Full post-contract commercial management Subcontract procurement and management Cost, value, and change reporting Managing compensation events and contractual change Attending and leading client meetings Supporting commercial strategy and project delivery Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements Requirements To be considered for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role, you should have: BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor on projects valued at £10m Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
Experience with in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, rail, or earthworks projects Excellent commercial management and stakeholder engagement skills This opportunity would suit an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a Managing QS role, or an established Managing Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term career progression within a growing civil engineering contractor.
