A long-established manufacturer of high-speed special purpose machinery who supply leading global, blue-chip companies are now seeking a technical skilled mechanically biased engineer with previous service, maintenance and/or commissioning experience of motion production machines with complex mechanical moving parts providing customer technical support and the increase in after sales opportunities.

• Reporting to the Service Manager, the Technical Customer Support Engineer will play a key customer management role being the primary point of contact for the global customer base providing remote diagnostic technical service support efficiently and professionally.
• Responsible for maximising aftersales service opportunities with customers, developing new business leads throughout the customer base and proactively promoting the sale of maintenance contracts, training masterclasses, machine refurbishments and replacements for new machines.
• A key responsibility of this position will be to support the team of service engineers, who travel extensively internationally. Proactively reviewing the engineer's service reports to identify and suggest opportunities to maximise sales with their customers.

• Strong engineering skills; mechanically biased with electrical knowledge.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service and client relationships management.
• Commercially focused and experienced working with special purpose machinery.
