Management Accountant

Management Accountant London 40k pa FTC to Perm Hybrid This role focuses on:

- Producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts Supporting funding, reporting, and financial control processes Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness Working closely with Finance leadership and operational teams It’s a hands-on, analytical role with strong collaboration across departments, especially fundraising.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports Analyse budget vs actuals and explain variances Provide insightful financial commentary to leadership Budgeting & Forecasting Develop and track budgets and forecasts Support funding monitoring and financial planning Funding & Revenue Invoice funders according to grant agreements Track funding changes and support implementation Ensure Gift Aid and tax claims are accurate and timely Financial Control & Compliance Perform reconciliations (bank, VAT, payroll, suppliers) Support audits and ISO compliance Maintain financial policies and procedures Operations & Process Improvement Maintain asset register and monitor procurement Oversee purchase/sales ledger and supplier reconciliations Identify and implement process improvements Skills & Experience Required Essential:
Qualified Accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA ) ~2 years post-qualified experience Strong management accounts and budgeting experience Good understanding of VAT Advanced Excel / Microsoft Office skills
