We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our agency team, supporting young people and adults in supported living settings . This role involves providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex behavioural or emotional support requirements. As a Support Worker in supported living, you will help individuals maintain independence, develop life skills, and access their local community while promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality person-centred support tailored to individual needs Support service users with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, and household management Promote independence, confidence, and life skills development Support individuals with accessing education, work placements, appointments, and community activities Provide emotional support and build positive professional relationships Support with personal care where required Administer or prompt medication in line with training and policies Follow care plans, behaviour support plans, and risk assessments Maintain accurate daily notes, incident reports, and handover records Safeguard vulnerable young people and adults at all times Support individuals with behaviours that may challenge where applicable Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams Follow all agency and client policies and procedures Requirements Essential:
Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Residential Support Worker, or similar Experience supporting young people and/or adults in supported living, community, or care settings Good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach Ability to remain calm and responsive in challenging situations Flexibility to work agency shifts, including weekends, nights, and sleep-ins Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Desirable: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, or challenging behaviour Medication administration training PMVA/MAPA training Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
