Langley is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Housing Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team in Eliora (Bedfordhire & Northamptonshire). This is a permanent, full‑time position working 40 hours per week, where you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting our clients and contributing to our mission. This role may include some travel and overnight stops.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £27,299per annum, recognising the value and impact of your work.

Lead in the assessment and management of risk including the operation of physical and situational security measures to control the level of risk posed to thepublic, staff and others in relation to the referral and letting of properties.
Provide information and advice about Welfare Benefits especially that of Housing Benefit.
Provide information about tenants’ rights and responsibilities, address breaches of occupancy with tenants using the Trust’srelevant policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain accurate records including correspondence, housing management plans and health and safety records on the tenants file and other housing management records using QLx.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build professional, respectful relationships.
Calm and resilient under pressure, able to de-escalate situations and respond appropriately to risk.
