Talent Acquisition Partner - 12 month FTC

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and solutions focused Talent Acquisition Partner to take ownership of and continuously improve the end to end recruitment process. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, joining a specialist engineering organisation undergoing transformation and growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, strengthening processes and leading improvements that create a smooth, efficient and compliant recruitment journey for both hiring managers and candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage end to end recruitment activity across multiple roles and departments
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, challenge where appropriate and improve hiring outcomes
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements across the recruitment lifecycle
- Draft and optimise job adverts to attract high quality engineering and technical talent
- Screen CVs, conduct telephone and video interviews and provide structured shortlists
- Proactively source candidates using Linked In, job boards and targeted search strategies
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for future and repeat hiring needs
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them through best practice recruitment
- Ensure a professional, engaging and consistent candidate experience at every stage
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition from offer to start date
- Ensure compliance with contractor regulations including IR35 and agency worker arrangements
- Maintain confidentiality within a security cleared environment
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an agency or in house recruitment role
- Strong end to end recruitment experience with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience recruiting for engineering, technical or specialist roles
- Solid working knowledge of IR35 and contractor engagement models
- Proven ability to solve problems and improve processes
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and influencing senior stakeholders
- Confident sourcing using Linked In, job boards and direct search methods
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple vacancies
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and confident approach
Full time role based onsite in Bedford
37.5 hours per week with flexibility on hours.
12 month fixed term contract with potential for extension
Flexible and pragmatic approach required to support changing priorities
Must be able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance
