HR Manager – Overview

Recruiting for an HR Manager for a manufacturing and distribution client in Bedford.

• Oversee the overall HR function for the business.
• Manage a generalist remit, reviewing and developing policies & processes.
• Report on HR metrics and attend meetings with the senior leadership team.
• Manage appraisals, coach and advise management on process, recruitment & onboarding, and employee relations.
• Develop learning and development initiatives, with a focus on leadership development.
• Embed a positive working culture, sustaining engagement and instilling strong people values.

• Proven background working as a generalist HR Manager.
• Stand‑alone HR experience.
• Experience with in a private sector, ideally a manufacturing/distribution/warehouse environment.
• CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
• Strong UK Employment Law knowledge.
• Exceptional relationship‑building, communication and leadership skills.
