IT Support Specialist

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and committed IT Support professional to join our Service Delivery Team based at the Shrivenham site, providing a professional and customer-focused support service for students, staff and associates using the IT facilities.

• Provide high-quality, customer-focused IT support service to staff and students at the Shrivenham site.
• Take ownership of more technically challenging incidents escalated from the IT Service Desk, resolving issues efficiently and in line with agreed service levels.
• Manage incidents throughout the incident lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.

• Proven track record of working in a technical IT support role, providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of technical IT concepts and end‑user applications across a range of devices and operating systems.
• Flexible approach and ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Familiarity with the ITIL Incident Management process is advantageous.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £29,363 to £34,332 per annum, with potential progression up to £40,180 per annum.
