Inventory Planner
Contract:
Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
The Procurement and Supply Chain Division are currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to business growth plans across 2026 and also to meet current business demands.
The role as an Inventory Planner is a key part in the success of the overall Procurement and Supply Chain function, ensuring all duties run smoothly, supply and stock planning is accurate and there is an overall focus on managing customer and supplier expectations.
Daily duties include:
- Reviewing stock levels and placing product orders where required to manage demands.
- Maintaining an accurately updated ERP system with Purchase Order status', delivery dates and any communication between suppliers/hauliers.
- Reporting on shortage issues and liaising with buyers to source alternative products which are high quality and meet budget requirements.
- Attend and contribute to the procurement, production and marketing meetings to maintain expert product knowledge and company updates/changes.
- Supporting the sales team with the coordination of sample products to share with new and existing clients.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a demand and/or supply planning role and be looking for a new challenge.
What is essential is that you have experience in:
- Maintaining and reporting on stock levels and sales performance.
- Budget management.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written - experience liaising with suppliers.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Processing orders within agreed time frames.
- Minimising stock shortages and slow-moving stock.
