Overview
St John’s School provides special education for children and young people with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, aged two to nineteen. We are part of Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust. St John's School are looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic and highly motivated evening cleaners.
12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Term time + 3 weeks:
One week to be worked during the Easter break, one week during the summer holidays, and the final week to be scheduled in agreement with the Site Agent. Start date - ASAP.
- Carry out evening cleaning duties as part of the school facilities team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with school procedures.
- Work the designated hours (12.5 hours per week) across Monday to Friday within term time plus three weeks as specified.
- Coordinate with the Site Agent for scheduling during Easter and summer periods and any additional times required.
- 1BS point 3 £ 13.28 per hour (£8,197 actual pa) [pay rate and pro rata details]
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- Checks: right to work in the UK, enhanced DBS, health clearance, and any other checks required by statute
- Adherence to safeguarding policies and online/social media checks as part of the recruitment process
- Provisions and expectations around safeguarding, Prevent, equality of opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide references and respond to recruitment checks
