Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can help keep our fleet safe, clean, and ready for service?

At Stagecoach, presentation and vehicle readiness play a vital role in delivering a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for our customers. We're looking for a reliable and proactive Bus Shunter / Cleaner to join our team at Bedford Depot.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for fuelling, washing, parking, and cleaning our fleet of approximately 60 vehicles, helping to ensure they are ready for service each day.

What you'll be doing
* Fueling buses as they return to the depot after service.
* Washing and cleaning the exterior of vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.
* Safely parking and shunting buses around the depot.
* Sweeping and cleaning vehicle interiors.
* Carrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning of company vehicles.
* Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, workshops, welfare areas, and other operational spaces.
* Completing and maintaining accurate records, including fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle information.
* Carrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
* Following all Stagecoach safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What we're looking for
* A positive and reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in cleaning, vehicle presentation, facilities, logistics, or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
* A proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently when required.
* A good understanding of health and safety practices.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable. PCV licence holders are encouraged to apply.
