After a major project win an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of UK's largest main contractors. They are looking to recruit a Principal Design Manager to play a key role on this prestigious project.

The project you will be working on is a major entertainment venue. It is shell and core at a value circa £250m.

This organisation is one of the largest construction and infrastructure groups globally. They have over 100,000 employees, operate in over 100 countries, with a turnover in the £billions.

They are known for the quality of the design in their projects and are looking for a likeminded individual to join this successful team.

The successful individual will have worked for a main contractor as a Principal Design Manager or Senior Design Manager who has taken the lead of a major £200m+ project.

• Principal Design Management experience RIBA 3+.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and client‑facing communication skills.

• Lead and manage the overall design strategy ensuring alignment with programme, cost, quality and client requirements.
• Act as the primary design interface with the client, stakeholders, project managers, and senior leadership.
• Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including internal designers, external consultants and specialist subcontractors.
