Warehouse Supervisor

Quest Employment are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations during the late shift. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and lead the warehouse team to meet productivity and safety standards. Salary: £33,000

Shift: Sunday to Thursday

Working Hours:

5.30pm to 2am Main Duties:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives Assign and monitor daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate order picking Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements~ Oversee the picking process to ensure accuracy and efficiency Address any discrepancies or errors promptly~ Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the picking team Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members

Skills & Experience required:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role - ESSENTIAL FLT licences counterbalance, reach desirable Strong understanding of warehouse operations, particularly order picking processes Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong organisational and time management abilities Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software Be self-motivated, demanding, hardworking and able to work autonomously Be IT literate and have excellent administrative skills Take ownership and care of all stock and orders within the required speed to ensure that the items are dispatched to stores within the right time frame If you are interested in the role please apply and we will come back to you ASAP.
